Is ClearFit™ a direct-to-consumer product?
No. ClearFit™ works exclusively with licensed dentists and certified orthodontists. We are not a direct-to-consumer aligner company. Every case requires a prescription from a licensed dental professional.
I am not an orthodontist. Can I use ClearFit™?
Yes. Every case is reviewed by a certified orthodontist who evaluates the treatment plan before fabrication. There is no certification fee required to use ClearFit™.
What types of ClearFit aligners are available?
We offer treatment options based on case complexity:
• 3x3 – Canine to canine
• 5x5 – Premolar to premolar
• 7x7 – Molar to molar
How thick are the ClearFit aligners?
• Aligner: 0.75mm
• Retainer: 1.0mm
• Matrix tray: 0.5mm material for cementing attachments
Is a retainer included?
Yes. A complimentary retainer is included with every treatment option.
Can I upload case documents online?
Yes. Our secure customer portal on the website allows you to upload:

What are the case submission requirements?
Every case should include:
• Patient photographs following our photo guide
• Clear clinical instructions
• A scan or impression
• A panoramic radiograph for 7x7 cases
How many trays are included per case?
The number of trays varies by treatment plan. A moderate case averages approximately 22 trays.
How long does fabrication take?
Turnaround time is approximately 15 working days once the treatment plan is approved.
How long should patients wear each aligner?
On average, aligners are worn for two weeks per set, 22 hours per day. Treatment duration depends on case complexity and patient compliance.
Can crowns and veneers be moved with aligners?
Yes. Please indicate any existing or planned crowns, veneers, bridges, or implants in the treatment plan.
Can ClearFit close a diastema larger than 6mm?
No. ClearFit™ is designed to treat mild to moderate malocclusions, crowding, and gaps less than 6mm.
Are there contraindications?
ClearFit™ is not recommended for patients with:
• Active periodontal disease
• Multiple missing teeth
• Centric relation and occlusion discrepancies
• Short clinical crowns
• Severe bruxism
• Mixed dentition
Do you use FDA-approved materials?
Yes. All materials used in ClearFit™ aligners are FDA approved.
Do you offer refinements?
Refinements are adjustments made during treatment if needed. Approximately 6 percent of cases require refinement. Close patient monitoring is recommended to minimize adjustments.
Do you replace lost retainers?
Yes. Additional or replacement retainers are available for $100 per set. Fabrication takes approximately three business days.
What if the first aligner does not fit?
Notify us within 15 business days. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
How does submitting a case work?
Create a Bayhsore customer Portal account and submit your RX.
Upload scans, photos, and supporting records.
Our team reviews your case and contacts you if needed.
You receive a digital plan for approval.
Once approved, fabrication begins.
How does payment work?
A $199 treatment plan fee is paid when submitting the RX. Once the case is approved, the remaining balance is charged to the same card. The $199 fee is applied toward the total case cost.
Are patient instructions included?
Yes. Each case includes a printed patient instruction sheet, and a downloadable version is available online.
