Hard/Soft Occlusal Guards
Our most popular mouthguard option, hard soft guards are increasingly requested by patients for their exceptional comfort and durability. Dentists prefer this design due to improved patient compliance and predictable long-term performance.
Bayshore hard soft mouthguards feature a soft inner layer for comfort combined with a rigid outer shell for strength and stability. If a guard feels tight due to lack of use, it can be re-adapted by soaking it in warm tap water for one minute, then reinserting it until cooled. The soft layer will conform to the teeth and restore proper fit.
The outer hard layer bonds easily to acrylic, allowing for efficient chairside modification.
