What Is an Angulated Screw Retained Implant Crown?

An angulated screw retained crown is a screw retained implant restoration that allows the screw access channel to be redirected up to 25 degrees. This technology moves the access opening from the facial surface to a more ideal lingual or occlusal position without converting to a cement retained crown.

Angulated screw channel implant crowns are ideal for anterior implant cases where esthetics are critical and implant positioning may not be perfectly aligned.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is an Angulated Screw Channel in implant dentistry?

An Angulated Screw Channel allows the screw access hole of a screw retained implant crown to be redirected up to 25 degrees. This repositioning improves esthetics by moving the access opening away from the facial surface or incisal edge.
